Tragic Discovery in Chiemgau: TV Host Manuela Tischler Found DeadTragic Discovery in Chiemgau: TV Host Manuela Tischler Found Dead
The beloved TV host Manuela Tischler (57), recognized as the face of n-tv and the daughter-in-law of renowned film producer Atze Brauner ("Europa Europa"), was found dead in a lake in Bavarian Chiemgau.
The heartbreaking discovery was made by a swimmer who came across the lifeless body of Tischler in a reed belt of Wössner Lake, subsequently alerting the police. Initially, the identity of the deceased remained a mystery.
However, several hours later, Sammy Brauner, the son of cinema legend Atze Brauner and Tischler's husband, faced a devastating reality. Returning from a business meeting in Berlin and finding his wife Manuela missing, he reported her absence to the local police station. Upon describing his wife's appearance over the phone, he was urgently requested to come to the station in person. It was there that he was informed of the harrowing truth: the woman found in the lake was his wife.
Currently, the exact circumstances leading to Tischler's death remain unclear. The Criminal Police are initially suspecting a tragic swimming accident since no external injuries were evident on her body. When found, Tischler was wearing black neoprene shorts by the brand Waterproof Sweden and a colorful neoprene swimsuit from Lentiggini, as reported by the police. To dispel any doubts and ensure absolute certainty about the cause of death, a post-mortem examination has been ordered by the public prosecutor. The autopsy is scheduled to take place early next week in Munich.
